Ans:-Any good quality rudraksha will start showing effect within 45 days. You will experience a change in the quality of your thoughts, behaviour, & your decesion making power.

Q.How do I know that a Rudraksha is genuine or not?

Ans:-Rudrakshas can only be identified with experience. The best way is to check the face or Mukh on the Rudraksha surface. It will have a natural look, something that cheats cannot artificially cut on the seed’s face. Also, the shape or size of the bead should not confuse you. It is more important to see that the Rudraksha is well defined, that there are no cracks near the central hole and the bead is not eaten by insects etc.

Q.Can all family members use one mala for japa?

Ans. No. Each one should have his own mala.

Q. Is it compulsory to remove the mala before using the bathroom?

Ans. No. as long as you are not touching it, all is fine.

Q.Does bead or mala need periodical cleaning?.

Ans. Better you clean it once in a month. Take a bowl of hot water , add few drop of liquid soap, and clean the bead or mala with this mixure. Then wash it under running tap water. Apply a thin coating of sandalwood/mustard oil for its protection and shine.

Ans.Yes, they can. According to our holy books , Rudraksha can be worn at all times by everybody . All rudrkasha beads contain Deva and Devi. There are beads representing Shiva, Parvati,Ganapati, Lakshmi, Durga, Hanuman, Vishnu, Maa Kali etc. Since the beads also represent Devi or Shakti, this means women can wear rudraksha. Lord Shiva does not discrimminate betweeen men and women, caste, race, religion, color or background.

Ans.No, All can wear. Ancient texts have not limited wearing of these beads to any caste , religion or sex . Some ancient texts also talk of animals wearing them and achieving salvation. , Moon, Stars, Rivers and Plants have No Religion.

Ans.Yes, Take a glass of water. Dip three beads of five Mukhi rudraksha in it, preferably after sun set. Drink it when you get up in the morning, before any other intake. Avoid using copper glasses.
